I hope that this website and blog will prove to be an effective tool to support my writing, teaching, and ministry endeavors. In addition to the occasional blog post, I plan to add reading guides for some of my books and essays, and to make available lecture notes from my academic and general audience lectures, workshops, and seminars. I have ordered your Beyond Impasse and have a question for you. What materials would you suggest to organize a “beginners” study of process theology in an adult protestant conservative church environment; by “beginners” I mean really beginners? Thank you for reading my email. Russ

Bruce Epperly, Process Theology: A Guide for the Perplexed
Patricia Adams Farmer, Fat Soul Philosophy (which, like her Embracing a Beautiful God, is more experience based)
A good book for the leader of the group is Marjorie Suchocki, God, Christ, Church: A Practical Guide to Process Theology

I just finished “Theocacy” and found it both readable and interesting. I was only dimly aware of Rushdoony’s Reconstructionists, and had no idea they carried out stoning executions, a la Leviticus.
I was also concerned to read in the dedication that the medical staff at U. of New Mexico
Hospital “saved your life.” Wow! Is that why you and Patricia left Ecuador? And avoided the earthquake?
I passed on my copy to Carol Steuer and she asked me to find you and find out how you are doing. Hope this post gets to you.
